SR32XXU SR33XXU Series

Description: This series is silicone rubber compounds with high transparency andtear resistance which arevulcanization molding by adding curingagents. (The curing agents should be chosen according to process requirements.)

Special properties:

Ø   Transparent appearance, excellent physical performance.

Ø   Resistance to crephardening in a long-term storage.

Ø   Low compression set.

Ø   High tear resistance.

Ø   Excellent process performance.

Ø   Can be used to mix with other rubbers.

Main applications:

Ø   Suitable for molding products which require high tear resistance withcomplex structure and high mechanical property. Suitable for large sizeextruded products such as special cable sheath. Suitable for large sizevulcanized products such as silicone rubber plate and air bags.

Ø   SR32XXU & SR36XXU: crescent tear is up to 30~40, right angle tear isup to around 40. Suitable for general high tear occasions, the price ismoderate.

Ø   SR33XXU: Can be used in special occasions that require super high tearresistance meets around 50. The price is higher.

Curing Condition:

After addition of 1.2% of 2.5-dimethyl bis-(tertiobutyl peroxy) 2.5-hexane (45%) and vulcanization for 5 min. at 170°C, withpost curing at 200℃×4.
